Our client, a leading Local Authority in the vibrant North West region, is on the lookout for a skilled Highways Lawyer to bolster their esteemed Legal Services team.
Role Overview:
As a Highways Lawyer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing expert advice on Highways matters, with a particular emphasis on Public Rights of Way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive Highways advice, focusing on Public Rights of Way.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and effective decision-making.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in planning and highways law, ideally within the public or private sector.
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulations pertaining to Highways matters.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Work Arrangements:
There is flexibility in working arrangements, including part-time or full-time options. While hybrid working is preferred, remote work is also feasible, welcoming applicants from outside the North West region.
Duration:
This is an ongoing position with an initial commitment of 3-6 months, with potential for extension.
