Hospitality Events Team Leader

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Events Team Leader to join our team at our Clifton Campus. The successful candidate would be responsible for delivering a professional service to all catered events across the campuses, including refreshments to meeting rooms, catering for academic, corporate and student conferences, drinks receptions, informal buffets, formal and gala dinners, open days, and graduation. Working 37 hours per week over 52 weeks this post will follow a flexible weekly rota and will regularly involve evenings and weekend working. Varied working pattern to meet business needs split over 7 days to include 2 days off. Our business operates over 4 campuses, 7 days a week so a flexible approach to working hours and location is essential. The position will also provide cover at our other campuses.
What you’ll bring - We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a passion for providing an excellent customer experience. With supervisory experience in a similar hospitality and conference environment and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Proven experience in staff supervision and budgetary controls. Most importantly you will be extremely organised and have the ability to liaise and coordinate a number of individuals and events, to ensure a positive outcome. Excellent communications are paramount, in addition ensuring relevant policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, including Health & Safety and Food Safety.
