Join our client's team as a Housing Support Assistant, where you will play a key role in providing essential clerical support to the Private Sector Housing Team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely typing and Clerical support to the Private Sector Housing Team, including the Empty Property Team.
- Input and extract data from software systems used by the Private Sector Housing service.
- Deliver an efficient service response to inquiries from service users.
- Liaise effectively with internal staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Handle photocopying, printing, collation of documents, and shredding of confidential information.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Undertake environmental searches and Land Registry checks.
- Type a range of documents, including letters, witness statements, and statutory notices.
- Arrange meetings and take minutes when required.
- Set up and maintain files, including filing, archiving, scanning, and indexing.
- Support the administration of housing loan and grant schemes.
- Contact clients by telephone to respond to queries and assess customer satisfaction.
- Process orders and payments through various systems, including Proactis, OLAS, and the CCBC credit card system.
- Maintain statutory registers and manage records in accordance with retention policies.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs Grade A -C or equivalent, or a relevant Level 2 qualification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Organisational skills to manage records and files effectively.
