Role: HR Administrator (12 Month FTC)
Location: Newbury/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £21,450k (dependant on skills/experience) + benefits

What will you be doing?
Reporting in to the HR Manager, you will provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a great employee experience for our people (circa. 200FTE) aligned to our values. Newbury are rightly proud of our people proposition, with a progressive and modern agenda to support, develop and care for employees. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Work collaboratively with HR team and the wider business to support our employees, share ideas, raise challenge where appropriate and suggest process improvements to drive change.
- Managing, resolve or refer, when necessary, all emails received in the HR mailbox
- Provide administration for all resourcing activities, e.g. recruitment, absence, starters, leavers, movers, and other employee changes
- Maintain accurate employee records on the HR system, e.g. pay, holidays, benefits
- Regulatory admin such as referencing and background checks
- Support learning and development systems
- Develop and maintain HR procedures and ensure accurate and professional employee communication tools
- Assist with monthly payroll process, including processing of amendments, communication with payroll and checking payroll reports.
Key skills & experiences required:
- Proven experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel and Office365
- Any HR Administration experience would be an advantage but not essential

They are based in the centre of Newbury and hybrid working expectations are a minimum of 2 days a week in the office but you must be able to cover any day of the week. In return they offer a full time equivalent salary of up to £21,450k and a great benefits package. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
