- Act as the main point of contact for general HR enquiries from both internal and external customer, escalating queries where necessary to the HR Manager
- Assist the HR Manager in providing day to day advice and guidance to line managers and staff across the business in adherence to employment law, policies, procedures and best practice
- Assist in the smooth onboarding, inductions and oversight of probationary periods for new starters
- Produce monthly data for reports relating to all HR activities
- Monthly processing of site payroll in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintenance of HR databases, spreadsheets and filing systems
- Support the HR Manager in delivering HR projects and initiatives across the business as required and take an active role in leading elements at the appropriate level
- Previous HR experience at a similar level
- Experienced working within FMCG, engineering or manufacturing environments is advantageous
- CIPD Level 5 and above or working towards achieving qualification
