Job Title: HR Business Advisor
Location: Hartlepool, UK
About Us: Central Employment is currently supporting our client, a pipe coating plant based in Hartlepool, with the recruitment of an HR Advisor for a permanent office-based role.
Job Scope:
- Consult with line management across various business units to provide HR guidance.
- Oversee compensation & benefits, including payroll and benefits packages.
- Manage recruitment activities and provide advice, solutions, and execution for employee hiring.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all operating locations.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to operating locations according to their local requirements.
- Manage yearly HR budget exercises.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Identify training needs for employees in collaboration with line management.
- Monitor and execute performance management activities.
- Collaborate with Divisional/Group HR on special projects, as required.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am to 11:00 am
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Qualifications/Experience:
- CIPD level 3 minimum
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with related experience in industrial relations, compensation & benefits, recruitment, training, employer relations & engagement, talent management, HR processes & procedures, payroll, and benefit administration.
- Experience in bringing continuous improvement of HR practices.
- Experience in business partnering.
