Hr Advisor

Are you a proactive and experienced HR professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and thriving environment? We are currently seeking a talented HR Advisor to join our client in Glasgow, contributing to the success of their vibrant company.

Your rate of pay and hours of work

You'll be earning a fantastic £30,000 to £35,000 per annum while being able to enjoy use of the staff canteen, free on-site parking and an enhanced company pension amongst other perks. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Responsibilities within your new role

The HR Advisor in this role will shoulder a range of critical responsibilities, including offering practical advice and guidance on various HR procedures. The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the performance management process, encompassing the annual appraisal procedure and performance reviews for all staff to align with the organisation's key objectives. Additionally, the candidate will oversee HR transactional processes, ensuring accurate authorisation and processing of activities such as probation, changes to terms and conditions, flexible work requests, and handling employee exits. The role will also involve providing crucial support to managers in high-risk cases, including absences, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Lastly, the candidate will take charge of the recruitment process, contributing to the seamless acquisition of new talent for the organisation.

The ideal candidate for this role should be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a demonstrated history of success as an HR Advisor. Strong attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills are essential. Additionally, the candidate should possess a background in offering practical guidance on HR procedures, supervising staff schedules, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing recruitment processes.
