Description
Anderson Knight Recruitment are working with client based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to join their HR Team on a permanent basis. This is a Part Time role, working 30 hours per week across either 4 or 5 days. The client offers hybrid working and is based close to public transport links.
You will support with the smooth running of their HR operations by providing advice and guidance in relation to ER matters, absence management, HR policies and procedures while also supporting with some recruitment and HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle employee relations matters, such as disciplinary actions and grievances, while balancing legal compliance and practicality.
* Provide HR support and guidance to managers across the region, helping them achieve their objectives.
* Offer guidance, information, and resources to colleagues throughout the organisation.
* Support wider HR team with key projects
* Implement HR policies, best practices, and employment law appropriately.
* .Manage and address employee absences, facilitating their safe return to work.
* Ensure quality recruitment processes and maintain safer recruitment practices.
* Promote workforce development practices, collaborate with unions, and deliver HR training tailored to the organisation’s needs.
Main Criteria
* Atleast 2 years’ experience in a HR generalist position
* Proven track record of managing complex ER cases
* Strong coaching skills
* A CIPD Qualification would be desirable
* Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Excellent IT Skills, particularly in Microsoft office
* Strong interpersonal skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Work well independently and as part of a wider team
