Verus Recruitment is proud to support one of the UK’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers in their search for a Human Resources Assistant. This role will assist the Human Resources Manager in delivering excellent service on all matters related to managing people across the site.
About the role:
This is a HR generalist role where you will gain a very broad introduction to the HR sector! You’ll assist in the recruitment of employees, writing adverts, liaising with agencies, and conducting interviews, and be involved in the induction of new employees, maintaining the starter paperwork and employment contracts. Responsible for absence management, you’ll maintain the business skills matrix and keep files and HR systems up to date.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 16:00/16:30 (37 hours per week).
About you:

• You will be a recent HR graduate having studied a BA (Hons) in Business with HR management or similar and/or be CIPD L3 or L5 qualified.
• Minimum 1 year’s work experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
