HR Assistant, £30,000, Poole
As HR Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Head of HR to support and empower the wider business. You’ll have the opportunity to progress your career, having significant autonomy to develop new HR processes, support on ER related issues, strategic HR projects and events. Within this fast-paced, ever-changing environment , you’ll be mentored by the Head of HR whilst working together to create an inclusive and supportive culture.

As HR Assistant you’ll be responsible for:
- Being main point of contact for all HR related issues and queries
- Administering recruitment and employee lifecycle including liaison with 3rd party suppliers.
- Being expert systems user of HR system and the automated recruitment system
- Continuous improvement of all HR & recruitment processes
- Close liaison with payroll
- Appropriate maintenance of HR data and records in line with GDPR.
- Enabling HR Analytics and management information
- Legal compliance
- Supporting employee relations cases and, where required, taking notes in meetings etc.
- Supporting the Head of HR with strategic retention initiatives and employee engagement.
As HR Assistant you will have:
- Previous experience within a HR Administrator and/or similar role
- Ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or studying towards your CIPD
- Excellent IT skills including Excel with the ability to manage and improve HR systems
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- The ability to handle HR issues sensitively and professionally, ensuring confidentiality is maintained when required
- Have a passion for HR and desire to learn and grow within your HR career
