THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our dynamic team at eFinancialcareers. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in handling HR duties throughout the employee lifecycle across multiple locations.

THE ROLE
HR Support:
- Act as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries, managing the HR inbox, and communicating HR policies and procedures to managers and employees
- Assist in recruitment processes by posting job openings, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and drafting offer letters
- Oversee induction and onboarding processes and manage probation procedures for new employees
- Handle the leaver process, including drafting and sending leaver letters and conducting exit interviews
- Administer any staff changes, including promotions or contractual changes, and coordinate these changes with IT
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases and employee files, ensuring compliance with relevant laws
- Provide support in resolving employee relations issues and assisting in conducting investigations and taking minutes when necessary
- Manage payroll processing and administer employee benefits
- Support annual talent and salary review and bonus processes
- Assist with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, employee well-being programs, and charity partnerships
- Support L&D with delivery of training calendar, achieving completion of training and other L&D admin tasks when required
- Update internal communication channels with new information and support HR projects and events planning
- Ensure compliance with Company Policies & Procedures and perform any other relevant duties as required
Office Management Support:
- Manage office supplies and maintain an organised and efficient office environment
- Act as a point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues
- Ad-hoc projects to support the smooth running of the office
- Assist with managing security and health and safety in the office
- Assist in the planning and organising of company events and socials
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Confident in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness

- HR Expertise: Demonstrates foundational knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the various aspects of human resources management, policies, procedures and systems
- Stakeholder management: Ability to work with internal and external parties at all levels
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills: Ability to juggle, prioritise and take ownership of a range of different tasks and projects
- Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in all their work
- Confidentiality and discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
BONUS SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not a requirement
- Two years HR experience and familiarity with HR systems are desirable
- CIPD Qualified, or open to studying
