Bakkavor Meals is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner at Meals Boston (Old Leake). This is a standalone role with the opportunity to be part of the site management team and implement a number of key people initiatives at the site. This is a great opportunity for a HR professional that is looking to progress their career. You could be in a HR Associate, HR Advisor or HR Officer role currently looking to take the next step.
Bakkavor Meals Boston employs over 700 people and specialises in making chilled Italian ready meals for a dedicated customer. It is part of the Bakkavor Meals sector.
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

About the role:
Work with line managers to deliver the business engagement plan and specific engagement initiatives including the employee engagement survey.
Work with My HR Services to deliver all weekly paid and some salaried recruitment.
Conduct labour planning meetings with operational managers to ensure that manning levels for permanent and temporary labour are always at the optimum level.
Coach line managers on the people performance cycle and ensures all reviews are completed, Personal Development Plans are live and action plans are in place where improvement is required. Develop line managers through coaching to ensure quality conversations take place.
Deliver local Organisational Designs initiatives ensuring outcomes meet needs of the business and employment legislation.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes for area of responsibility.
Coach and support line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensure managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.
Provide insight to the SHRBP and Line Managers on root causes of Business Unit people issues and make recommendations to improve.
Support the Senior HRBP in delivering the business Talent process including Talent discussions, levelling, assessment and development centre observation and feedback, in order to ensure delivery of a talent pipeline for the business unit.
Support SHRBP with management of pay, reward and recognition for the business.
Report on KPIs for area of responsibility and agree actions to drive improvements with line managers and the SHRBP.
Ensure area of responsibility is always audit ready from a people and ethical perspective. In addition, support SHRBP with the business ethical agenda
Ensure the SEF (Site Employee Forum) agenda is realised within the area of responsibility and that the employee voice is represented.
The successful candidate will ideally:
Be CIPD qualified.
Have experience in performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, ER case management and HR Generalist Knowledge.
Ideally have experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar including FMCG and retail.
