Responsibilities in your new role as HR Manager
- Collaborate with department heads in recruitment, ensuring compliance and fairness
- Develop staffing strategies with line managers
- Lead training and development initiatives tailored to departmental needs
- Manage performance reviews for continuous feedback
- Foster strong employee relations
- Manage ER/IR risks for team and hotel protection
- Advise on employment legislation and implement policies
- Maintain compliance with employee records
- Manage payroll budget and legislative compliance
- Provide health & safety training for all teams
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess experience in an HR Manager role within a hospitality setting with a CIPD membership level 3 or above. A robust understanding of employment law is essential, along with a track record in recruitment and selection. Experience in designing and delivering learning and development initiatives is vital. You should exhibit a positive attitude and excel in building rapport with employees across all levels. Demonstrating discretion and maintaining confidentiality are crucial aspects of the role.
