We are proud to be recruiting an HR Manager for an educational trust based in Bedfordshire region. This is a great opportunity to join an existing HR team who have a reputation for being friendly, supportive and inclusive, which plays a huge part in their culture.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of HR, you will provide business partnering support to a number of schools within your cluster whilst developing two HR people in your team.
Using your HR expertise and experience you will provide pragmatic advice and guidance to senior leaders on a range of HR management issues, ensuring compliance with HR policies, employment law and current HR best practice. You will manage a range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, capability and grievance cases and organisational change projects including TUPE.
Your support to the schools also includes providing Professional dotted-line management of the school HR Officers.
A passion for people management as well as HR Business Partnering is key for this role.
About you?
You will be CIPD level 5 or above and have extensive experience in managing end to end employee relations cases as well as being able to provide advice and guidance on HR policies to support your key stakeholders.
Experience of working for a local authority, the NHS or education would be of benefit in this role however not essential.
You will be confident and pragmatic in your approach with a high standard of written communication.
People management will be in your DNA as you will love coaching and mentoring your team.
Travel across the Bedfordshire region is an essential part of the role however you will be able to work from home at least two days a week.
