Our client based in Runcorn are seeking a HR Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The prime responsibility of this role is to manage the HR Function of the business. This is a true generalist role dealing with everything from recruitment, onboarding, employee relation cases to training and development. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working in a legal/law firm and essentially be qualified to CIPD Level 5 as a minimum.

Main responsibilities
Sculpting and executing HR strategies, aligning them with the firms goals.
Being the go-to expert for all HR matters, guiding the senior leadership team.
Managing performance review and the appraisal process
Managing the firm’s recruitment process and partnering with agencies when required.
Keeping the Employee Handbook and Policies up to date with legislation and best practice.
Overseeing the smooth operation of employee relations and performance management.
Playing a key role in training strategies and employee development initiatives.
Managing digital platforms for employee engagement, recognition, and leave management.
Crafting insightful HR reports and maintaining meticulous records.
Assisting with reports for payroll.
Key business partnering with stakeholders to assist with the running of the departments.
Responsibility for the Offices and the firms Health and Safety.
