We are delighted to support a wonderful organisation based in Portsmouth who are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for coordinating all recruitment activity including onboarding of employees
- To be the first point of contact for all employee HR related questions
- To be responsible for the full employee lifecycle
- Responsible recording data into the system for onward payroll processing within the set timescales
- To maintain complete and accurate Employee records, both physical and electronic.
- To conduct staff surveys quarterly and staff file audits and feedback to stakeholders
- Liaise with HR Advisor on more complex matters and advise employees accordingly.
- Manage DBS applications and expiry dates.
- Manage rights to work and expiry dates and managed.
- Working alongside the HR team to follow-up on any grievance and/or disciplinary action in line with employment law
- Monitor outstanding probations and ensure that these are completed in a timely manner.
- Report and manage staff sickness absence levels with management.
