Client Details
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the HR Officer will work as part of a small HR team and will help deliver the strategic people plan and oversee day-to-day HR activities.
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support, advice and guidance to managers on employee relations and policies and procedures
- Attend disciplinary, grievance and attendance meetings to provide support, advice and guidance to management
- Manage day-to-day supply agency cover on site
- Build and maintain relationships with preferred agency suppliers
- Manage the full recruitment and selection life cycle
- Oversee induction and onboarding processes, leading on orientation and integration
- Conduct pre-employment compliance checks including DBS, references, right to work and overseas police checks
- Maintain digital HR system and electronic filing systems, including updating payroll information
- Draft letters, emails, reports and contracts
- Absence monitoring and sickness absence management, including OH referrals and intervention.
- Manage HR Data and MI, produce reports and data summaries
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar HR role
- CIPD level 5 qualification
- Previous experience in Employee Relations casework
- Excellent knowledge of employment law
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
Job Offer
- Salary £32,164 - £36,518 per annum
- 12-month fixed-term contract
