We are recruiting for one of our prestigious clients based in Alconbury who are looking for a HR Officer to join their fast paced, energetic team. The right person will be based at their state of art facility which is testament to their continued growth and plans for the group. The right candidate will be supporting the HR function to retain and promote the company’s ethos, culture and support the employees to retain exceptional people.
The HR Officer role is responsible for being the first port of call for all day-to-day HR matters, providing colleagues with professional advice, guidance and support as well as supporting the wider HR team with adhoc projects. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- You will be looking after the new starter and leavers process and ensuring regular feedback is actioned inclusive of conducting inductions.
- Provide accurate and timely guidance and advice to the key stakeholders, ensuring it is in line with the Company policies and procedures.
- To provide day to day advisory service on employee relation issues and employment law ensuring a blend of pragmatism and best HR practice and coach line managers as appropriate, feeding back to Senior Managers where appropriate
- Work in collaboration with the other HR Team to ensure effective delivery of all projects and tasks.
- Support with training needs at all levels for all HR systems, policies and procedures.
- Lead the Employee Forum Your VOICE ensuring meetings monthly and actions closed out.
- To take ownership of any query and/or issues raised seeing it through to resolution.
- IT Literate – High level of IT literacy with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoints
- Experience in a similar role / environment.
Preferred, though not essential.
- CIPD Certificate in HR Practice or working towards a CIPD generalist qualification level 4 or above.
- CIPD training can be provided.
