Hr Officer

Job Title: HR Officer (ongoing temporary contract)

Location: Accrington, Lancashire

Salary - £13-£15 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Hybrid working available)

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient HR Officer to join our client’s dynamic team. As an essential member of our HR department, you will be responsible for executing various administrative tasks, focusing on the HR systems, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive approach will contribute significantly to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate pre-employment checks, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new colleagues.
• Supporting with administration tasks related to all HR topics and key processes, such as workforce budget, recruiting and performance management.
• Shortlisting CV’s, arranging interviews, drafting offer letters and contracts.
• Manage staff records and process contractual changes promptly.
• Payroll processing and pension payments.
• Provide administrative support to HR colleagues and manage correspondence.
• Maintain external systems with accurate information updates.
• Ensure GDPR compliance in all administrative tasks.
• Note taking and transcription during HR meetings.

Skills and Experience Required:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in HR
• Proven HR admin experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in training coordination and good IT skills are advantageous.
• Experience using MS office (Powerpoint and Excel)
