HR & Training Administrator
Gateshead, Tyne & Wear | £27,700 per annum | Full-time, Permanent | Onsite Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a large automotive manufacturing business based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Function with HR & Training related administration requirements.
HR Responsibilities;
- Update HR systems, databases and trackers in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Support with recruitment administration including collation of CVs, arranging interviews with candidates, managers and agencies.
- Process of all new starters and leavers on the database.
- Administration of onboarding and induction including reference checking, preparing new starters packs.
- Coordination with Occupational Health for appointments and paperwork.
- Process of attendance management including process of holiday requests.
- Coordination of the annual performance appraisal process for employees.
- Administering company pension scheme, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment pension regulations.
- Other general HR related administration as required (letters, records, ect)
Training Responsibilities;
- Assist with the implementation of corporate training and development strategy and programs at site level.
- Provide effective preparation and support for the coordination of all company on-site/off-site training events (e.g. booking training slots within venues, issuing training invitations, issuing joining instructions for delegates, attendance list)
- Accurate administration of employee training records, updating the training database, talent modules, training logs.
- Assist with the coordination of all mandatory refresher training (Health & Safety, Fire, First Aiders)
- Ensure training evaluations are issued and logged in a timely manner
- Coordinate training induction timetable for all new members.
Person Specification
- Degree in Business/HR, Diploma, CIPD Level 3 or working towards, preferred
- Demonstrable previous experience of working in HR Admin/Assistant role
- Experience using Work Day, beneficial
- Able to work to own initiative, manage conflicting priorities
- Approachable, friendly, open to supporting colleagues across the business
