Job description

Our client, a leading Art Gallery, is seeking a motivated and proactive HR/Office Manager to join their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career and gain valuable experience in office management and human resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining office infrastructure, managing day-to-day operations, and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement office management procedures and policies.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the office, including facilities management and administrative support.
  3. Manage HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  5. Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff members.
  6. Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Assist with special projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in HR and office management roles is advantageous.
  2. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.
  6. Commitment to professional development and career advancement.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a full-time position with regular working hours from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The salary for this role ranges from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
