The HSE and Facilities Assistant on site will be required to provide high-quality Facilities service for AAT staff, visitors and oversee the health and safety on site.

Description
The key responsibilities including:
- Health and Safety
- Hot desks
- Space planning
- Catering assistance
- Email in-box management
- Overseeing contractors (their HSE/compliance)
- Collate reports and carry out investigations into any accidents, near misses and hazards that occur on site.
- Work closely with the HSE and FM.
- Ensure all staff complete DSE assessments and provide any guidance and equipment to staff where appropriate.
- Record all DSE assesments including WFH and Hot desk versions
- Manage equipment and furniture
- Ensure all meeting room booking and procedures are correctly followed - monitoring them and ensuring technical support and refreshments/catering is ready for any upcoming meetings
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Customer service
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external individuals on site
- Review and improve processes in accordance to customer feedback
- Manage stationary
- Catering
- Oversee courier services with external providers ensuring excellent service is delivered
- Liaise with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure that all rules are being adhered too
Profile
The successful candidate must
- Be proactive
- Have HSE and Facilities experience in a commercial environment
- First Aid Qualification
- Fire warden Qualification
- DSE Assesor
- Be immediately available or have a maximum weeks notice
- Have a strong understanding of Teams/Excel/PowerPoint/Forms
- DSE experience
- Health and Safety qualifications
- Experience working with subcontractors and contractors
