Our Restart scheme provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress In Work. As part of our Restart programme, we will support participants on their journey to finding sustainable employment, enabling them to progress towards a more secure future. The Restart programme will help people who have been unemployed for between 12 and 18 months get back into work, including those whose prospects for securing employment have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
As In Work Support Lead you will provide effective In Work Support to Serco's operations team delivering Restart as well providing support to Restart participants coming into the delivery centre and via telephone. You will strictly adhere to the guidelines in accordance with the programme's requirements and Serco' policies and procedures.
What you'll need to do the role
You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, experience in providing excellent customer service and will be able to input supporting data at speed and with a high degree of accuracy.
You will also have experience of influencing stakeholders and have previously worked in a faced paced, target driven environment. Ideally this will have been in the employability sector however sales experience in any environment will also be considered.
