Indirect Buyer - Manufacturing - Hybrid

Working on behalf of our FMCG client, BPSS are looking for an experienced Buyer to join a busy Purchasing Team based in Birmingham.

* Create and implement sourcing strategies
* Identity of CI opportunities and promoting best practice

* Cost management, forecast accuracy and innovation
* Deliver cost savings
* Manage and develop supplier relationships and identify new suppliers
* Categories: distribution, IT related services, facilities management, and office services, hire and leasing, PPE etc.

What skills are we looking for?

* Indirect Procurement within Manufacturing
* Manufacturing industry experience and knowledge
*Success in delivering significant cost savings
* Develop partnerships with stakeholders internally and externally
* Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Effectively manage multiple projects

• Salary - DOE
