Description
- Develop, execute and maintain robust procurement strategies for indirect categories
- Agreed approach on buying in the category across the business.
- Stakeholder engagement plan covering all users who spend in the category.
- Category strategy in place & agreed with stakeholders covering sourcing plans, category governance & risks.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Conduct market research to identify procurement opportunities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within the business
- Manage and mitigate procurement risks
- Deliver cost savings and value for money
Profile
A successful Senior Buyer (Indirect) should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven experience in managing indirect categories
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Offer
