Job Title: Senior Buyer - Global OEM Engines & Filtration Systems
Position overview:
Are you ready to drive innovation in the world of engines and filtration systems? Join a leading organisation as a Senior Procurement Buyer, working alongside industry leaders in the global OEM Engines & Filtration Systems division. As part of a dynamic team, you'll be responsible for overseeing a substantial £70 million budget across a large range of global suppliers in a role that offers a clear path for progression.
About the Role:
- Manage a £70 million budget across a large range of suppliers in the OEM Engines & Filtration Systems division.
- Collaborate with a global team of professionals, contributing to the strategic direction of procurement.
- Drive commercial initiatives and negotiate contracts with suppliers on a global scale.
- Lead projects and manage the onboarding process for new suppliers.
- Play a pivotal role in the upcoming strategy rollout for Hydrogen and Hybrid Engines, a groundbreaking initiative within the next 12-18 months.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Strong negotiation and project management skills.
- Global mindset with experience dealing with suppliers in regions such as Europe, Middle East, USA, and China.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for driving innovation, particularly in the emerging field of Hydrogen and Hybrid Engines.
