Description

• Develop, execute and maintain robust procurement strategies for indirect categories
• Agreed approach on buying in the category across the business.
• Stakeholder engagement plan covering all users who spend in the category.
• Category strategy in place & agreed with stakeholders covering sourcing plans, category governance & risks.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Conduct market research to identify procurement opportunities
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within the business
• Manage and mitigate procurement risks
• Deliver cost savings and value for money

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer (Indirect) should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proven experience in managing indirect categories
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Offer

• A competitive salary of £36,000 - £44,000 per annum, plus a 10% bonus
