Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Our client is on the lookout for an Infrastructure Team Lead to join their dynamic team in a hybrid role based at their Head Office in Birmingham. The successful candidate will spearhead a talented group of Infrastructure, Networking and Application Specialists, ensuring the delivery of a robust and secure infrastructure environment.
The Role:
The Infrastructure Team Lead will play a pivotal role in:
- Delivering exceptional technical support and driving a customer-first approach.
- Providing specialist technical expertise across the company's Infrastructure and Cloud Environment.
- Leading the team in incident resolution, problem identification, and proactive maintenance.
- Contributing to the Technology Strategy and ensuring alignment with the Infrastructure Roadmap.
- Acting as an escalation point and duty manager during major incidents as part of a rota.
The Candidate:
The ideal Infrastructure Team Lead will possess:
- Extensive experience in a leadership role with significant technical delivery/support responsibilities.
- Expertise in VMware, Cisco Networking, Microsoft and Google Technologies, and security best practices.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills, capable of managing critical issues and leading with accountability.
- A data-driven and continuous improvement mindset.
- Relevant technical knowledge and specialisms to an "Expert" level.
