The role of Finance Director
Number two to CEO, working in partnership, driving the business and the team, and ensuring that there is full visibility on the numbers from an accounting perspective.
Duties include:
- Lead and continuously improve financial reporting responsibilities, to management and stakeholders.
- Legal compliance
- Short- and long-term funding
- Finalise yearend accounts
- Investor roadshows
- Manage budgeting process, P&L, balance sheet, cash.
- Ensure suitable and robust financial controls are maintained across the business.
- Financial planning and analysis, reporting for all sites and product lines, ensuring
- KPIs and trends across all lines of products are reported on.
- Be the trusted advisor to the CEO and the wider leadership team assisting with financial planning and strategy.
- Attend board meetings and present back to the board where appropriate.

Experience in multisite leisure /retail sector
