SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Interim Management Accountant to assist one of our clients through an exceptionally busy period and help them produce the monthly management accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
The business is an exciting and fast paced organisation who require someone who is flexible and organised in their approach, yet mindful of the wider business and a solid communicator. You will be able to hit the ground running and not be worried about getting into the transactional detail of management accounts production.
Duties as Interim Management Accountant will include:
Provide support for the monthly management reporting and year end statutory accounts.
Review the operational budgetary controls and internal expenditure against actuals.
Full review of the P&L accounts and investigate variances.
Provide support in overseeing the allocation of the accruals/prepayments and project cost allocation.
Analysis of the variances around gross margin and revenue generation with commentary to the board.
Develop the visibility of the Group reporting pack within the wider business.
Reconciliation and completion of the VAT return and associated tax implications across the Group.
Maintain and manage the reporting of the Tax/PAYE reporting, P11D reporting, and staff benefits across the Group.
Support the performance and reporting of some of transactional areas of the team.
Responsible for the company credit cards payments/mileage and expense report.
Strong excel skills for reporting and analysis is essential.
