Patriarche London has an exciting new opportunity for a talented, passionate and an exceptional Interior Designer to be part of the interiors department in the London office.
Role Overview:
The Interior Designer will work as part of the interior design team, collaborate extensively with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior Interior Designers and working closely with the architectural project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Interior Designer at Patriarche, you will:
- Under the guidance of the Senior Interior Designer, prepare sketches, mood boards, and concept designs to pitch for projects, competitions and potential clients
- Prepare space planning, test fitting and schematic design schemes for projects
- Prepare design development presentations and documentation
- Utilise CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Rhino and Revit for purposes of visualization and design documentation
- Research and curate FF&E selection, prepare furniture RFPs, and prepare final FF&E specifications documents
- Participate in the organisation and management of the office materials and samples library
- Prepare finishes and materials boards for client presentations and final finish specification documents and plans
- Collaborate and integrate with engineering services and specialist sub consultants
- Prepare documentation packages including drawings, schedules and specifications in accordance with local codes and industry norms
- Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to establish costs and construction programmes
- Attend client meetings, installations and visit site to ensure projects are in keeping with their design and development
- Collaborate with and work as part of the architectural project teams when required
- Share knowledge and work with Project teams to satisfactorily deliver projects
- Deliver excellent service to clients through strong communication, working to understand their needs and expectations
- Stay updated on industry advancements, materials, and technologies, seamlessly incorporating them into design initiatives
Required qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification interior design experience with a diverse project portfolio
- Proficiency in technical drawings with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrates an exceptional talent for sketching
- Proficiency in software including Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional graphic, and design capabilities, with a focus on innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions
- A collaborative, flexible and proactive approach to work
