As part of our divergence into exciting new fields and territories, we are currently seeking an Art Director to join our team based in London. In this role, you will have opportunity to lead the creative design process across a range of brand experience projects - with an emphasis on packaging, retail, instore, BTL to digital, social/content development for campaigns, activation and events.
You will no doubt share our excitement for the possibilities that working across these platforms presents, and have the experience to bring that to bear for our global, FMCG client base. And, of course, you will know how to develop creative solutions and produce exceptional work, whilst also being a hands-on design lead, and a true client-facing partner. If you have experience of working with FMCG clients in the Asia Pacific region - even better.

You will:
• Oversee and lead the creative process from inception, concept, design to artwork release
• Develop creative solutions for origination, adaptation or localisation of the client’s packaging designs across different formats and versions
• Be a hands-on design lead and creative steward for category brands and the creative conduit for your assigned team.
• Craft and establish the concept and visual design direction and manage the entire creative process to deliver creative excellence and quality output
• Interpret concept and/or brand guidelines through to artwork release.
• Art direct and design with the goal of achieving the optimal creative solutions.
• Be the creative authority for brand style guides. Adhere to style guide and extend when needed.
• Challenge status quo, when needed, and identify opportunities to enhance, when possible.
• Manage team and creative development for all assigned category brands.
• Conduct comparative analysis / research, and support ideas with references.
• Create strong and effective internal partnerships and collaborate across clients and Marks/SGS&co.
You will have:
• Experience in branding, packaging design, visual brand identity designs, retail design, art direction, digital execution, and production with high level of design craftsmanship and technical knowledge
• Experience in packaging design adaptation, transcreation or localisation, global to local roll outs
• Integrated design portfolio showcasing branding, packaging designs, retail instore and BTL designs, digital and photography etc
• Expertise in ideation, development and execution of visual brand, packaging design, retail and marketing materials
