Internal Sales
Wymark Limited have an Internal Sales vacancy to join our rapidly growing business based at Head Office in Cheltenham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from GBP24,000 GBP29,000 (BOE) + bonuses + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + pension (when eligible). Monday Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 2.00pm.
Wymark Limited is the manufacturer of the Greasomatic 96, a single point automatic lubricator and an industrial lubrication solutions provider. We are also a distributor of high-performance lubricants (oils, fluids, greases & aerosols), lubrication equipment and provide industry-leading products and services.
About the role
As our Internal Salesperson you will be helping to provide excellent service to our customers through the sale of goods across our product range. You will be required to provide an efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, in turn building a rapport and credibility with our existing customers and new.
Key responsibilities
- Processing and raising purchase orders / quotations based on customer requests and enquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintaining all other documentation to ISO 9001 standards.
- Liaise with management on all bespoke requests sourcing prices for products and delivery from suppliers.
- Receive all incoming orders and technical enquiries via email and telephone.
- Engage with other departments such as production & despatch.
- Follow up all open quotations to maximise sales revenue.
- Accurately keep records of all dialogue with customers.
- Maximise sales revenue with our existing customer base.
- Proactively source new customers building your own customer portfolio
Your Skills & Attributes
- Valid UK driving licence
- Experience of working in an industrial / engineering / sales environment.
- Knowledge of Industrial Lubricants and equipment would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Knowledge of Sage version 50 essential.
- Proven tack record in generating new customer leads (2 to 5 years experience).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Be highly motivated and customer driven.
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
