Internal Sales Administrator - High Wycombe - Full time, Permanent - Salary £23,000 to £30,000 per annum!
Job purpose:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Administrator who will be responsible for dealing with all branch-related administration, including processing sales, quotes, and purchase orders. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with general customer queries and correctly re-directing enquiries. Other duties may be reasonably assigned to them by their Manager.
Main duties:
- Engage with customers over the phone
- Accurately take and input orders onto the system via telephone, email etc.
- Providing customer quotations for products as requested
- Make proactive sales telephone calls to existing customers
- Maximise add-on sales with existing customer base, by promoting the companies full product offering
- Follow best practice within the branch in relation to all diversity, equal opportunities, and environmental matters, and ensure branch compliance with all relevant legislation
- Follow the “Zero Harm” culture within the branch, which recognises and promotes the absolute importance of health and safety and environmentally responsible behaviour. Lead by example in actively promoting and contributing to a culture where health and safety of every team member is the number one priority
- Fully understand the limitation of their knowledge & seek support & guidance from the appropriate colleagues when required
Skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills including telephone manner and customer rapport
- Previous internal administrator experiences preferable
- Good level of numeracy and IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers
The manager is looking for someone with ambitious, determined and proactive.
The working hours for this role are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and there is free onsite parking!
