The Sales team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Internal Sales Agent

Primary role: To provide effective and efficient support to customers and prospects who have queries relating to LPG in general, as well as concerning the Calor brand. Often acting as the first point of contact for customers, professionalism and customer service is imperative. 

Secondary role: To maximise sales in both the domestic and commercial markets on a day-to-day basis through outbound and inbound telephone responses to customers, prospects and the Sales Force. Particular emphasis will be placed on providing telephone support to marketing campaigns with a view to gaining new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Handle all calls, in a professional and empathetic manner and be receptive to and resolve complaints or problems
• Demonstrate good admin skills
• Problem solving and working on own initiative
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach
• Be able to work and co-operate as part of a team, assisting and supporting colleagues, TL’s and other departments when necessary
• Excellent organisational / Interpersonal Skills.
• Demonstrate customer focus and be tenacious in pursuit of business and team goals
• Displays effective written and verbal communication skills
• Keyboard/VDU and telephony skills
• Experience of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Outlook

As such we would like you to have/be:

Knowledge: Experience of WiRe preferable. Product and market knowledge preferable but training will be provided

Experience: 1 year with a sales & Marketing/ Customer Service / Call centre environment.
