My client believes in the power of teamwork and dedication. As an integral member of their team, your role as an Internal Sales Engineer involves a variety of duties to ensure seamless customer interactions and support. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Receive customer inquiries through various channels such as phone, fax, email, and post.
- Identify and understand customer requirements effectively.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and selection support to assist customers.
- Quotation and Order Processing:
- Generate quotations and provide accurate price and delivery information.
- Obtain and process customer orders, ensuring a smooth contract review process.
- Utilize SAP for efficient order processing.
- Database Management:
- Maintain the CRM database by documenting customer communications.
- Customer Relations:
- Respond to customer progress inquiries promptly.
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and dedication.
- Quality Assurance:
- Bring any non-conforming products to the attention of management for resolution.
- Health & Safety:
- Prioritize and uphold health and safety standards.
- Report hazards and risks to management or the H&S coordinator.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify self-training requirements and communicate them to the immediate supervisor.
- Bring any errors or omissions in documentation to the attention of colleagues or the supervisor.
- Flexibility and Team Collaboration:
- Be adaptable to handle any other duties that may arise from time to time.
