M&P Survey is currently looking for a Internal Sales Executiveto come and join our team based at our office in Chester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 - £27,000 per annum dependant on experience.

M&P are a Leica Geosystems main UK dealer and part of the Hexagon group. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries.

We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.

About the role:

The local Internal Sales Executiverole is key within the Hexagon Geosystems organisation and in this position, you will provide a comprehensive, efficient, and courteous service to our customers as well as providing our external sales teams with administrative support to improve efficiency that will ultimately drive service revenue growth.

Working closely with stakeholders you will ensure a rapid response to enquiries from our customers and take a proactive role in supporting the Service and Rental departments in order to maximise all opportunities. This will include monitoring and responding to enquiries via the M&P sales mailbox, web page and telephone, follow up of all departmental quotations and scheduled maintenance records, as well as identifying opportunities to grow revenue such as BER and obsolete instruments. New opportunities will be logged in the operational CRM system and distributed / assigned to the relevant stakeholders.

You will have a proactive approach to every interaction and be an integral part of a proactive customer experience. Often, you will be the first point of contact for customers, so professionalism, honesty, integrity, and good customer service skills are imperative.

Key responsibilities as our Internal Sales Executive will include:

  • Processing orders and producing quotations for low value, high volume consumables, accessories & equipment
  • Liaising with regional sales and business development teams on all capital sale enquires via M&P media channels to ensure timely and co-ordinated management of the enquiry
  • Co-ordinating and processing won orders by the regional sales team by generating customer sales notes, purchase orders whilst keeping all stakeholders updated on progress from order to delivery
  • Working cross department to ensure that all opportunities to generate revenue are followed up in a timely manner
  • Entering and updating customer information in relevant business management platforms
  • Managing local sales stock, inventory and updating pricing to ensure minimum margins are maintained
  • Engaging with, and supporting stakeholders to highlight opportunities to generate additional revenue such as BER or obsolete instruments passing through service
  • Going the extra mile to meet sales quota, facilitate future sales and ensure a collaborative and positive working environment across the administration team
  • Keeping records of customer engagement and disseminate useful information to key stakeholders
  • Adhering to established processes and workflows whilst contributing towards continual improvement and utilising experience and understanding to help review these processes and suggest improvements

What we re looking for in our Internal Sales Executive:

  • Ideally a proven track record of working in a fast-paced sales / administration environment
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment or independently
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally
  • knowledge of Syrinx and potentially SAP advantageous
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
