Internal Sales Executive - High Wycombe - Full time, Permanent - Salary £23,000 to £27,000 per annum plus bonus!!
Job purpose:
You will be working with the Branch Management to achieve the Branch and Regional Sales strategy and targets and to attain monthly and annual sales targets for the branch. You will look to identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships to maximise sales potential, champion business objectives and ensure strong focus on margin, volume and profit.
Main duties:
- Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business
- Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably
- Engage with customers face to face and over the phone
- Accurately take and input orders onto the system
- Providing quotes
- Maximise add-on sales
- Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers
- Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time
- Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams
- Any other reasonable duties within the individual capabilities
Skills and experience:
- Previous Internal Sales experience required
- Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable)
- Good level of numeracy and IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers
The working hours for this role are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and there is free onsite parking!
