Morgan Stanley Investment Management strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance, service and a comprehensive suite of Investment Management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations and individuals worldwide.
The International Equities team manage ~ USD 55bn in global equities across the flagship Global Franchise Fund, Global Quality, Global Sustain and International Equity.
Primary Responsibilities
• Represent portfolio manager views with institutional and intermediary clients in one to one and group settings or events
• Develop relationships with sales and other internal support functions
• Liaise between sales and portfolio management team
• Draft portfolio, stock specific and thematic commentary
• Help attract new clients through new product design, marketing material creation, competitive positioning, strategic review of market opportunity
• Manage client experience from take-ons, IMA review, client service reviews, supervision/quality in reporting
Required Skills:
• Substantial experience working in Investment Management (sales, client service, specialist experience preferred) from an active Equity Portfolio perspective.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Marketing communication skills and prudent client-oriented business management.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Preference for candidates looking for a long term position within global equities.
