Investor Relations Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

• Cultivating client relationships & ensuring regular updates and materials are arranged and provided
• Assist with the preparation of periodic and ad-hoc mailings to investors and advisers, including regular valuations, biannual reports, factsheets, etc
• Responding to client and consultant questionnaires, including RFPs and DDQs
• Tracking asset flows for all funds and assisting clients and fund administrators throughout subscription (initial and subsequent flows) and redemption processes
• Regular reporting for internal & external stakeholders
• Maintaining an accurate database of underlying investors
• Maintaining and updating client and consultant databases
• Managing our CRM and marketing documents systems
• Assisting in producing and updating client presentations, factsheets, and communications
• General business development administrative tasks including sales support.

Essential Skills and Direct Experience with:

• 1-2 years of experience in a related Investor Relations position at a Private Equity Firm, Placement Agent, or Asset Management firm
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attentive listening skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is a must
• Ability to work well in a team with a high degree of drive and motivation
• Strong attention to detail, structured, organized, and deadline-focused
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and pursue excellence in all tasks
• Private Equity experience is required
