IT Field Support Engineer

We are seeking an IT Field Support Engineer to join our client's team, who are an MSP focused within the education sector, providing high-quality technical support and consultancy services. This role involves regular visits to client schools, offering on-site and remote support across a range of IT services and technologies.
Day to Day of the role:
- Make regular visits to client schools to provide effective on-site responses to a variety of IT networking and end-user support requests.
- Utilise a robust knowledge base to support services and technologies, including Microsoft, Google, and Apple platforms.
- Process and escalate incoming requests for support, both on-site and remotely via the helpdesk.
- Participate in project work at client sites, with opportunities to influence the direction and scope of these projects.
- Collaborate closely with our expert Account Managers to deliver comprehensive technical support and consultancy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Around 2-3 years' demonstrable experience in IT support services or consultancy.
- Practical working knowledge of firewalls and HP Aruba switches, preferably in the Education or Public sectors.
- Proficiency in Windows AD, Microsoft Office 365, and Azure AD.
- Experience with MS InTune device management.
- Understanding or network troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of LAN & WAN technologies.
- Some experience with VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V (desirable).
- Some experience in recent Microsoft Server (Apply online only) builds.
