It Service Delivery Manager

We're currently seeking a passionate and driven IT Service Delivery Manager to become an integral part of our newly formed Service Delivery Department within the IT division. As the direct report to the Head of IT Service Management, you will assume a crucial position in supervising and elevating Service Delivery standards for key clientele within the Defence sector of our business.

As a IT Service Delivery Manager, you'll have the exciting opportunity to lead on key accounts, ensuring the highest level of service excellence for both our external customers and internal users. Your main responsibility will be to champion the effective deployment and governance of ITIL standards across our business-as-usual IT functions, guaranteeing seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and motivate a matrix team of Service professionals in the effective delivery of all IT services for a specific or multiple accounts. Own the relationships with key business partners and customer teams. Accountable for the supplier management of 3rd party support contracts, assisting with the procurement and ensuring SSCL achieved value for money through the services. Oversight of key ITIL processes such as Incident, Change and Problem Management and the team members providing them. Chairing Service Management meetings and leading individuals; acting as an exemplar leader in line with the highest people and corporate standards. Responsible for increasing the ITIL maturity level though the effective governance of IT and support functions. What you’ll bring:

A strong background in an outsourced IT service businesses working with clients within the Defence sector. This experience provides valuable insight into sector-specific needs and challenges. A proven understanding of ITIL frameworks and their successful implementation will be highly regarded as well as driving ITIL maturity within organisations ensuring efficient and standardised IT Service management practices. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with individuals at all levels of an organisation is essential. Candidates should excel in articulating technical concepts and facilitating productive discussions among diverse team members. We seek candidates who have a track record of influencing and persuading others to adopt new ideas or initiatives. This skill is crucial for gaining buy-in from stakeholders and driving positive change within the organisation. Location: Any of our CoE's - with a need to travel to these sites as required Security Clearance Level: Either hold or be eligible for both SC and NPPV2

Internal Recruiter: Jen Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
