IT Service Desk Analyst

Location: Manchester                                                                                                          Salary: £22,000 – 25,000

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining Group's technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones.
• Ensuring that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, financial systems and cloud-based services seamlessly.
• Installing, upgrading, and managing software and hardware on company devices.

• Providing staff with training on how to use hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
• Creating instructions and user guides for program installation sequences.
• Performing backups and restoring lost data as needed.
• Evaluating and recommending software purchases to the IT manager.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• At least two years' experience as an IT Service Desk Analyst or related role
• Demonstrable knowledge of IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and    internet protocol suites.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment
• Demonstrable Admin-level knowledge of Azure AD, EndPoint Manager, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory (AD)
• Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Office 2016, 2019, or Office 365.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Administration of Office 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Forms, etc
• Hardware Install and builds/upgrades
• Software installs/upgrades
• VLE (Moodle)
• An understanding of Antivirus
• An understanding of Backup and DR provision
