IT Service Desk Analyst
Location: Manchester Salary: £22,000 – 25,000
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining Group's technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Ensuring that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, financial systems and cloud-based services seamlessly.
- Installing, upgrading, and managing software and hardware on company devices.
- Providing staff with training on how to use hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
- Creating instructions and user guides for program installation sequences.
- Performing backups and restoring lost data as needed.
- Evaluating and recommending software purchases to the IT manager.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- At least two years' experience as an IT Service Desk Analyst or related role
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and internet protocol suites.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment
- Demonstrable Admin-level knowledge of Azure AD, EndPoint Manager, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory (AD)
- Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Office 2016, 2019, or Office 365.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Administration of Office 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Forms, etc
- Hardware Install and builds/upgrades
- Software installs/upgrades
- VLE (Moodle)
- An understanding of Antivirus
- An understanding of Backup and DR provision
