Job Description
We are currently looking for IT Service Desk Analysts to join our Shirebrook IT Academy. If you are looking to kick-start a career in tech- this is the perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and qualifications to grow your career.
This is an entry level role paying £22,500 per annum
- Taking responsibility of IT support queries that come from our Head Office and stores across the UK and beyond
- Providing IT support via our phone and ticket systems, logging detailed and concise information
- Monitoring, fault tracking and problem management
- Assisting the broader IT teams with preparation of hardware/software
- Writing and updating technical documentation
- Owning end user tickets right through to resolution
- Working a shift pattern between the hours of 7am and 9pm. Which includes weekend work 1 in 4 weeks
The role is based full time at either our Shirebrook HQ, Manchester Office, or Basingstoke Office.
This team follow a shift pattern within the hours of 9 am and 9 pm, including weekend work on a 1 in 4 weeks basis. Shift options include 9-hour days with a 1-hour lunch break or 8.5-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break.
Qualifications
All technical training will be provided via our IT Training Academy in your onbaording
- No prior experience needed, just a passion for IT and desire to develop your skillset and learn/grow with our business
- Team focused and able to communicate effectively with colleagues to offer support and advice
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Problem solving mindset and able to think logically and calmly under pressure
- Able to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Experience in a Customer facing role beneficial
- Understanding of Retail/Warehouse Environment beneficial
