David Chipperfield Architects (DCA) is looking for an IT support engineer to join our London office. You will join a diverse and international practice, working on a variety of projects around the world and be part of a busy Operations team providing IT support to everyone working in the practice whether in the office, travelling or working remotely.

About the role
IT support
You will enjoy a front-facing, people focussed role providing onsite support for DCA employees and collaborators, escalating issues to our IT service provider or third-party vendors where necessary. You will address and resolve IT support tickets as well as responding to in-person walk-up requests for assistance. You will undertake daily and weekly checks of onsite equipment and provide printer, plotter, and AV equipment support where necessary, supporting with IT setup for office events and key all-staff meetings.Working closely with the People Operations team, you will be responsible for setting up new user accounts and hardware for new starters as well as liaising with the Digital Design and Information Systems staff where inhouse expertise and support is required for business applications.
IT documentation and certification
You will be required to maintain an awareness of IT best practices, processes and policies, ensuring they are up to date and followed. You will also assist with creating and maintaining IT processes, user guides and service catalogue documentation in the Knowledge base and on the Practice Intranet site.
An awareness of Cyber Security is essential, and you will be involved with maintaining necessary security certifications (Cyber Essentials etc.), ensuring the practice stays informed and staff are aware of potential security threats and how to react to and report them.

You enjoy directly supporting staff at all levels of experience and seniority and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in using support ticketing systems is essential and experience of IT within the architecture or construction industries is desirable.
