IT Support Engineer
1-month initial contract (potential for extension)

£20-25 per hour
My client is looking for an experienced hands-on IT Engineer to support his existing team.
You will be responsible for providing onsite support to employees, mainly 1st and some 2nd line.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st Line IT Support to staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
- Identify, diagnose and resolve software and hardware faults
- Install and configure new equipment
- Provide user training as necessary
- Monitor system performance
- Keep up to date with latest industry developments and technologies
- Liaise with clients and report back on progress
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar 1st Line Support role
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Networking and Security
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will need to hold an active DBS check, with the start date being January 23rd.
