It Support

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an IT Support to be based with one of their key clients near to Ashbourne. This is a full-time, permanent position to be based in the office working between the hours of 8.30 and 5.30pm. The role is paying up to GBP35,000.
This role will be responsible for the company's front line I.T service. You will oversee the delivery of internal IT services to ensure their effective operation and monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement.

To be considered for this role you must have 2 years of experience in IT service delivery management or similar role along with strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks. Ideal candidates will be an experienced 2nd/3rd line candidate looking to progress in a more senior role. You wil have one direct report with the potential for this to grow further. Technical experience you must be confident with the following:

Azure AD, Sharepoint, Networking, Network Security, Firewalls (Sonicwall Currently), VPN's, Server Management and Updates - Hyper-V.

As you will have a direct report you will need excellent leadership and communication skills. The client is also looking for someone with problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Main duties will be:
-Lead and mentor the internal IT support team
-Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
-Collaborate with external service providers.
-Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement.
-Drive process optimisation and cost reduction strategies.
-Manage and coordinate IT projects to ensure successful delivery.
-Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
-Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to align project goals with service delivery objectives.
-Prepare and present reports on IT service performance.
-Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks.
-Ensure adequate level of 3rd party support in place for escalated IT queries
-Manage delivery of 3rd party service including cost and service provision
