Join a well-established IT support and service company as a 1st Line IT Support engineer.
You will work on-site at the customers premises in the Abingdon, Oxford area.
THE JOB:
You will be assisting users face-to-face and over the phone:
- Supporting users with basic IT training
- Carrying out regular checks, including backups
- Managing and prioritising tickets
- Providing first-line hardware and software support
- Conducting basic network diagnostics
- Maintenance of printers
- Escalating tickets where necessary
- Hours 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
KEY SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of IT support experience
- Great customer service skills, as much of the work will be face-to-face
- Physically able to work around a large site, sometimes carrying equipment
- Local to the Oxford area
- A car owner/driver.
