Paying up to £25k+Benefits - based in Oldham, North Manchester our client is a successful engineering business that are looking for an IT/Technical Support Administrator to join their team. As IT/Technical Support Administrator, you will be office-based, working Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.
THE JOB
Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, as IT/Technical Support Administrator your responsibilities will include:
- Soul responsibility for all IT/Technical queries onsite, including mobile phones, laptops, SIM cards, printers, mobiles, toners, screens, PCs, TVs, and phones
- Being the first point of contact for their external IT support company
- Providing support where required to the store’s facility
- Booking equipment or tools in/out with Engineers
- Assisting with goods in and recording accordingly
- Project work including new system updates and improvements, ensuring tasks/projects are completed on time, ensuring information is updated and recorded accurately and undertaking any other ad hoc requirements
THE PERSON
- Must have some previous IT support experience
- GCSE English and Mathematics grade C and above
- Excellent MS Office IT skills including Outlook and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate personably at all levels
- Self-motivated, and able to independently prioritise
- Able to motivate and cultivate a positive culture within the team
