We are a small, but rapidly expanding, company serving a growing number of businesses and schools in the Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and surrounding areas. We have built up an excellent reputation with our customers and are looking to recruit someone with good ICT skills who can be part of a proactive team supporting all upcoming IT requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to explain what you are doing to non-technical customers, and help us grow our business are essential.
We are looking for an outgoing person who is keen to learn. Agood knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365 is essential and at least a basic knowledge of network troubleshooting would be preferred. We will provide training where required, but we will expect you to have a basic understanding in IT. We will, of course, provide training on customer specific software and on-going staff development. We value qualifications, but hands on experience and an interest in IT is far more worthwhile to us.
The role is a mix of helpdesk support and on-site support. You would be based in Slough but could be expected to travel to other nearby areas. Use of your own car is required, for which a mileage allowance will be payable.
An enhanced level Disclosure and barring service (DBS, previously known as CRB) check will be requested upon appointment of this position.
This position is available now and would be full time. Starting salary is dependent on experience with increases from the initial salary agreed dependent on your performance.
